Bangkok: last day @ Terminal 21

All good things must come to an end... le sigh!

Well, it's the last day of our trip and we've decided to walk to Terminal 21 which was about 15 mins walk from our hotel. Having lunch at Bar-B-Q Plaza was the main reason we were there and it was definitely the right decision! We have always enjoyed Bar-B-Q Plaza in Malaysia so we wanted to check out if there's any difference compared to the original in Thailand. So we finally had our answer and it's a huge YES! I truly loved the combo here with fresh thickly sliced meat, fresh huge bacon, fresh tender chicken and many more... everything here is awesome! So unlike the ones in Malaysia where the thinly sliced meat is so transparent and easily torn off! This will be our fixed itinerary the next time we are in Thailand!

I visited the toilet next and tadaaa... it even has various themes! I was obviously at a bakery themed toilet... so damn creative and comfortably clean!

I saw this robot waiting to serve a customer at this shop! So canggih right?!!!
Time for a tea break at Auntie Anne's!

Then it was time to head back to our hotel and our booked cabbie. Funnily, saw this billboard advert while stuck in the traffic jam on the way to the airport. It's a birthday greeting from this boy's fan club... definitely a very rich fan club! Unfortunately, I do not know who this is...
We had dinner at the airport while waiting for our flight. When our food arrived, we were surprised it's different from the photo on their signage, hmmm.......
Can spot the huge difference?
Finally, on board our flight back to the real world...
Adios Bangkok! See you next time!

Bangkok: Day 4 @ Central World

After Palladium Mall and lunch, we walked back towards Central World. We spent the whole afternoon here, especially since they had Naraya sales at the ground floor! And so here are some random photos taken in between shopping ya...
The walk from Palladium Mall to Central World. I loved the elevated walkway which we can escape the jam and the heat! Central World does have a huge shrine outside the mall and many locals from all walks of live would pray here.

Well, since we have plenty of time so we started fooling around...

Since it's highly recommended on social media and they do have a counter here, we gave this Phoenix Lava a try. To be honest, nothing exceptionally outstanding lah... just a durian puff.
This dessert shop is also highly acclaimed but it looks like any other dessert shop back home so we forgo it.
Can you see what we were trying to do?

Another must see before taking the train, the canggih toilet in one of the malls! You can't find it in most famous malls and hotels in Malaysia thus far...
On the way back to the hotel, we stopped by here for dinner. Unfortunately, it was not as great. It's one of the stalls on the kaki lima by a row of shops.
After freshening up, we went to this shop opposite our hotel for a late night cap. Apparently the cook was not around and they should have told me their kitchen was closed. Instead, they took my order and whipped this up..... the french toasts were more like toasted bread drenched in ???

All in all, an interesting and fruitful day. Just wished it was longer as we were to leave Bangkok the next day... le sigh!!!

Bangkok: Day 4 @ Palladium area

On this day, the main reason for us to go to Palladium Mall was to check out the beads/ accessories wholesale floor at basement 1. As we were early, most shops were not opened yet which was favourable for us as it was easier to survey a few shops rather than being mobbed by many. However, it turned out to be expensive in our books even though it's wholesale as mainly we were tourists and not locals. So in the end, we just lepak around and then left the area after lunch, headed towards Central World instead. So here's a recapped of our random photos:

Our yummy breakfast at one of the quaint shops near our hotel:

Reached our destination!

Loving the sky walkway passing through the malls without having to sweat it out!

At last, we had to cross the road to Palladium Mall under the bright sunny sky!
After a disappointing survey of the wholesale centre, we were chilling at Cafe Amazon! Honestly, they have the cheapest coffee and yet so yummy!
We chance upon this Chicken Rice Shop and it was flooded with locals for lunch. So we had to try it out too! The end result, it's a simple yet tasty meal... tender meat with crispy skin, not too over buttery rice with spicy chilli condiments!

Bangkok: Day 3 @ MBK

After Jim Thompson, we took the train to MBK. Finally some shopping and relaxation in the air-conditioned mall! It was dry and humid weather when we were in Bangkok then so we tried to be in malls as much as we could. Here are some random photos........

We had lunch at MBK's food court ya... the food here is so yummy and at THB275 only including drinks!
Suddenly we were in Chatuchak Park again LOL! Well, we were kinda bored in MBK so we headed back to this park for some evening walk and Pokemon Go raid :-)

Time to head back to MBK for dinner!
FYI, I bought this from a random shop at the train station and it's really yummy! Btw, non-halal ya...

Back at MBK McDonald's for a non-halal dinner at THB310!
Just can't help sharing the fact that the Bic Mac here has more meat than in Malaysia... albeit different type of meat lah...
After dinner, we called it a night and head back to the hotel.
