This year’s Christmas celebration is a low key affair. We didn’t go anywhere as we are afraid of the human and traffic jams. We just celebrate it at home with good home-cooked food, TV and gifts.
My kids were excited since last night, as usual, as they can’t wait to open their gifts ;-) They had been pestering me and my hubby about it since we came home from work. At last, my hubby promised them that they can open their gifts at midnight. They kept watching the clock, even setting the alarm at midnight! Well, their enthusiasm paid off, at 12 sharp, in their pyjamas, sitting next to the tree, waiting for me, LOL!
Our barely there tree ;-) My girl decorated it herself (which explains the disoriented decorations LOL!, she’s definitely not an interior decorator in the future then). Even the gifts were stacked up, instead of spreading it under the tree, due to constant peeking by them ;-)
Kids at work: busy tearing off their gifts! Is that it?
Finally, all opened!
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends, bloggers and readers “Merry Christmas!”
May this blessed Christmas brings peace, joy, good health, prosperity and a bountiful New Year 2010 to all of you!
