Today is our 18th anniversary! Well, after 2 kids and a furkid, I sure hoped that our love would keep going strong until the day we die........

Someone shared this in Facebook so it's more for my record... to take note of my dear Minnie's age. She's 9 this year and of medium built meaning she's 56 in human years!!! OMG! She's older than me LOL!!! No wonder she behaves like an old lady sometimes! Oh well, she'll always be my baby pup :-)

16th Wedding Anniversary

This is a throwback... a post to capture my happy moment especially since we were able to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary with our children... I am truly a happy mom!!! As we had to attend a cousin's wedding on our anniversary, we had unintentionally celebrated it pre and post.

Pre was a sumptuous Japanese dinner at Rakuzen which filled our tummies to the brim! A yummy meal filled with laughter... truly a memorable night! Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pics of that night, most likely with hubs.

Post was something Italian at Tino's Pizza! Yummylicious cheesy pizza to savour and appease our taste buds! Honestly, it was a fun-filled night with Angels!

I am truly grateful and thankful that God has blessed me with such a beautiful family to call my own. After all these years, hubs has been supportive, understanding and loving... I'm proud that he's my best friend and also my soulmate... muaxxx xoxo!

Mom's 68th birthday

We celebrated mom's 68th birthday a couple of weeks ago with some meal and movie at Paradigm Mall. It was fun and easy with us, the children, busy window-shopping and catching Pokemon! LOL! To be honest, it's sis Alvina, bro Ryan and me lah! The youngest of the lot, bro Chris, was not interested but he does know the theories LOL! Mom was flabbergasted that her older children was so engrossed with Pokemon Go! LOL!

We had coffee here at Franco but not sure what happened to the art...

Lunch at Sushi Zanmai but the taste was off that day...

Dinner at a shop near home and the food was off too...

It was truly an enjoyable day and we had the most fun catching Pokemon! I think we had never played together like forever! Definitely a memorable day for me... I hope so it was for mom too...

We watched Skiptrace as mom is a Jackie Chan fan hence the reason why we were at Paradigm Mall as limited cinema was showing this movie then. Or else we would have been at Sunway Pyramid with more Pokemon to catch... oopsie Daisy :-)

And bro Ryan just had to do this.... Poliwag with mom!

Believe it or not, now our family group chat in Whatsapp has become Pokemon Go chat room LOL!

Happy Birthday Minnie!

I still remember distinctly when Minnie first came into our lives. She's such an adorable and good pup. No whining. No crying. No barking.

7 years later, she's a grown dog but for me, she's still a pup in my eyes. Whenever I dote on her, hubs always shakes his head LOL! He always says I'm spoiling her but he's also doing the same!

She's my -gardening, cooking, laundry, sleeping- basically everything companion. She follows me wherever I go so when she's not, I know she's up to no good LOL! Anyway...

My Mother's Day away from my Angels

For those who didn't know, my kids stay with my mother-in-law in hometown, studying and growing up there. Hence we try to balik kampung monthly, especially on selected celebratory weekends la. Unfortunately, we had to forgo Mother's Day this time as they will be coming down to KL this month end for my brother's wedding. Finally! There will be a May wedding in the family!!!

So I was out the whole day, first to Subang Parade to collect some yarns I've bought from Babe's Creation. I did have a relaxing time with my current read and teh tarik at Uncle Lim's while waiting for the mall to open :-)

Tuesday's with Morrie is a superb read!

Mother's Day lunch was at Grand Imperial, Sunway Pinnacle. Some of the yummylicious food and dim sum we've ordered...

Then we headed for a caffeine fix at Coffea Coffee. It was so nice of them to offer a Mother's Day promo of a free cake with any 2 drinks ordered!

Last but not least, hubs treated me to these!!! It was unexpected so I was truly surprised and blessed. Unfortunately, angels were not with us hence the little sombre mood... sigh!

It was a simple day of eating, bonding and catching up for me. Totally welcomed this de-stressing and relaxing day though missing my dearest Tyger and Princess. Well then... looking forward to this month end's event!

Hub's 45th birthday was a low key one since we can't have any celebration until FIL's 1st death anniversary is over. So I've cooked his favourite spaghetti for dinner (you can view my easy peasy how to here) and actually crochet another red devil!

Yes, I've made this previously for my bro Chris and now another for hubs since he's a Man Utd fan! I think I could make a 3rd one for bro Ryan... we'll see how as though it's easy to make but the horns are difficult! Too tiny LOL!

My Valentine's Day 2016!

It's almost the same every year but this time around, hubs surprised me with an additional gift!

He had given this initially as I wanted it for the convenience of my bloging/ writing. Hence, I wasn't expecting anything else aside from me planning what to cook for dinner :-)

And then he surprised me with a Starbucks paperbag on my pillow on Saturday night! I was so overjoyed and speechless!

Imagine that a mere tumbler can bring me so much joy! LOL! I definitely slept pretty well that night... with a smile etched on my face, I think!

Aside from a home-cooked spaghetti dinner, I have yet to get him a gift though... I wanted to make another MU inspired beanie but couldn't find the correct pattern yet. So, am still pondering on this... *fingers crossed*

Dennis and Doreen's wedding

This is the first wedding I've attended after so long! I truly felt outdated and out of sync LOL!

So, this is my cousin's, Dennis, wedding with his long time girlfriend, Doreen. It was held at a hotel in Putrajaya 2 weekends ago and I thank God for sis' Karen Millen's dress which she has given me! Or else I'll definitely felt out of place as it was a magnificent wedding. All dressed to the nines in gowns and suits!

Happy Birthday Pa!

Today, my dad would have been 73 years old. It's been 2 years and 9 months since he has passed away but I still do missed him tremendously. I guess I'll never forget him as he has been imprinted in my heart since the day I was born.

Happy Birthday Minnie!

Today is Minnie's 6th birthday! It's been a hectic few weeks as she suddenly picks up some skin disease... a real headache for us as she's never been to a hospital, not even to a groomer...

So we headed to a pet shop and got her these as according to them, it should be fungal infection...

As her condition worsen and she seemed to scratch more, even bleed with skin flaking, we decided to head to a vet at UPM Serdang. Doctor's diagnosis - it's actually eczema... I wonder what is she so stressed about??? =.=

OTW to the hospital

After hospital and grooming LOL!

So with a cone, anti-biotic, anti-histamine, fish oil and some summer clips, she's getting better now.

TBH, so easy to bathe her without hair!!!

Lucky her, all these happened prior to her birthday so the full grooming is like a birthday treat for her lah! LOL! She also got to stay indoors more nowadays. I guess a blessing in disguise. So need to get her more indoor toys to occupy her mind. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to sleep in a bucket with blanket. She thought I was going to lock her there and jumped out when I put her in! LOL!

Anyway, it was a traumatic few weeks for us as it's the first time so just hoping that she heals well and everything will be back to normal soon. Minnie, please continue to be a good girl ya... love you much!

Tyger's quiet 13th birthday

As my FIL passed away recently, we are not able to celebrate any occasions within the 100 days mourning period. As such, we could not celebrate Tyger's birthday either... he's formally in his teens now! A teenager *chuckle*! So instead, we have a special pre-dinner aka appetiser treat for him. 

We went to IOI City Mall Putrajaya for his favourite Magnum Cafe. Yes... the yummylicious, picturesque desserts... and we totally had a blast!

It may not be much but it was a memorable one as we got to spend quality time together. It's a coincidence that his birthday was during the first school holiday break and they were here in KL. I totally felt so blessed that my angels were here, so thankful that we got to have fun together and so grateful that they were not in hometown loafing away.

So so so missed them now since school has reopened. Can't wait for their next school holiday for our delayed vacay! Another 2 months + to go, yay!
