Lilo & Stitch

I can’t recall when we bought these cute terrapins, probably about 2 years ago. We named them Lilo and Stitch since it’s a male and a female They have grown so much… from a 50 cents coin size to a huge hand size! Finally they have overgrown in size hence we have to release them into a pond. Yes, into the wilderness they go…

We decided to release them at Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Club since we were going back to hometown yesterday. When we finally reached the club, it was raining heavily. As such, we have entrusted SIL to release them when the rain stopped. It was a good day too since it was the first day of the second month of the lunar calendar. According to SIL, they happily swam away so I guess they really liked their new home. 

I feel sad at having to say goodbye to Lilo and Stitch but also happy on the other hand as they have migrated to a much better home! Actually a ‘bungalow’, to think of it! I can drop by anytime to visit them whenever we balik kampung, hopefully able to see them in action
