Old taste, new place (I like their motto, aptly named). Residing in the quiet suburban of SS3 since 1979, Kashmir Cafes is a traditional Indian Banana Leaf Cafe with a fresh new look and feel.
We decided to have lunch there last Sunday before heading to KL. It also happens to be owned by a friend of Hubby’s ^.^
I have not been here in ages, especially since after they had revamped the place. It felt cosy and pleasant, a cool place to lepak especially since they offer free WiFi service *wink*
We ordered a variety of food from Roti Canai to Thosai to Banana Leaf Rice to Idli to Indomie Goreng…
One word summed it all YUMMYLICIOUS! We were filled up to the brim! I meant our tummy, of course *grinning* The curries tasted just right, especially the mutton curry, superb to the last drop. Dried mutton and chicken curry were super tasty, meat was fresh and tender. My angels were enjoying their roti canai until mid-way when they couldn’t resist trying my Indomie goreng. Well, they ended up finishing my Indomie, leaving me their bits and crumbs of roti canai *slaps forehead* My only comfort was idli which I felt lacking of something *thinking* Ooh yaa! I thought it was supposed to be accompanied by coconut milk? Hmmm…
Anyway, overall service was fast and efficient… ambience was comfortable… an enjoyable experience. The price was also affordable. Our bill came up to RM33+ (including 5 glasses of drinks; my teh ais was splendid! Not too sweet, not too thin, just right). Mind you, no special discount for bros ya, it’s full price ^.^
