Just realized I haven’t posted this ^.^ This place is always crowded whenever we passed by so thought of giving it a try… mind you this was before the puasa month started. They serve a variety of Thai, local and western dishes on their menu. After placing the order, we waited quite a while before our drinks and food were served. Even when Hubby ordered iced water midway, it took so many reminders before it finally came =.=
Our chilled drinks… I was so happy when I saw Ribena Longan on the menu *blushing* Hubby ordered Sirap Bandung with Cincau. It was refreshing and not overly sweeten.
Hubby’s favourite Nasi Goreng Petai which turned out to be average, a little bland and not overly spicy.
My Thai Green Curry Chicken Rice. It was cute the way they served the square rice but taste wise, okay lah. The curry was spicy for me though.
Fried Prawns with Sambal. Hmmm… the sambal was nice with a tinge of sweetness. However the prawns were not as fresh as it looked.
The ambiance was comfortable and soothing, ideal for family dinner. The tables were placed quite close though so it could be noisy when there are huge crowds. I like their little knick and knacks on their walls, very unique.
Our total bill was RM41.65 inclusive of 5% service tax. Overall, it was a tad bit expensive. Taste + service = the normal tomyam stalls fare better and for a much cheaper price too. It’s a big plus that they have a nice ambiance and the food portion was kinda big.
