MPOV: Restoran LFF Seafood

I’ve been yearning for crabs for ages! Finally, I was able to feast on it last night as Hubby was given his day off yesterday. We headed for this road side restaurant in OUG which we used to frequent… haven’t been here in awhile now. Nothing much has changed though, except for the new signage ^.*

We ordered ‘sei tai thin wong’ (literally means 4 heavenly kings) which is actually stir-fry petai, long beans, lady’s fingers and brinjal with sambal belacan. Haven’t had this dish in awhile… it was heavenly and the petai wasn’t over-smelly.

This tau fu dish (bean curd) was recommended by the waiter, unfortunately I can’t recall the name. It’s with minced pork and vegetable with soy sauce poured onto the tau fu. It’s actually nice, as the tau fu was tasteless, eating it with the minced meat made the dish tasted just right… a good blend of taste and very appetising too.

The finale, my yummylicious ‘kam heong hai’ (literally means golden fragrant crab)! Ahhh… the photo may not do justice to the dish but it was superb to the last drop! Fresh crabs + tantalizing wok = yum yum finger licking good

Overall, the food was good with a cooling, open-air environment… no need to worry about poor ventilation. Honestly, they have air-con room but we opt for open-air as I don’t intend to come out smelling of food ^.* The portion was big, both of us had our tummy filled up to the brim! Our total bill was RM68 inclusive of a pot of Chinese tea for 2 pax and 2 plates of rice. The crab was a tad bit expensive i.e. RM45 a kilo but the rest was ok, standard KL pricing.

Location: No.8 Pusat Penjaja, Jalan Awan Hijau, Taman OUG, 58200 KL

7 thumbs up out of 10
