She may look happy, she may look cheery
She may joke, she may laugh
But deep down inside, she’s slowly crumbling…
So many sob stories, all bottled up inside her
No one knows, no one asked, only ignorance
No one ever noticed the sadness in her eyes…
Appearance may lie
Deep down inside will not
Walls built like a fort surrounding the broken heart...
Like an apple pie, all sugar and spice, all sweet and nice
But once pressured, all the walls start crumbling down, caving in
Overflowing with tears of sadness…
She’s not strong enough, she needs help
She needs a sturdy wall to support her, guide her
She needs a shoulder to cry on...
