MPOV: Flying Char Siew Wan Tan Mee

I know, you won't believe it but the noodle was flung high in the air during preparation, before placing onto the plate to be served. Although the noodle tasted average but the flying noodle was the attention seeker. Unfortunately, it was pitch dark and I forgot to switch on my flash, so apologies for the dark pix =.=

We were shopping for our prayer's stuff near the wet market when we saw this stall. It's always crowded so we gave it a try when suddenly I saw someone flinging the noodles! So this must be the marketing tool! The thought of a fly or mossie caught in the noodle did cross my mind though *grinning* Anyway, most people would cringe at eating by the roadside, next to a wet market and worry about the rats or stench but it's never on my list. If the food is good, why not?

Honestly, the noodle and wan tan tasted average, nothing to shout about. Hubby was complaining his noodle was tasteless >.< It was a little costly too for a roadside stall, RM4.50 per plate for a single noodle. If you want a quick meal to satisfy your hunger pangs, okay lah. Just don't expect too much.

Location: next to Sea Park Wet Market, facing Jalan 21/22, Taman Paramount

6 thumbs up out of 10
