The movie kicks off with Nick Fury arriving at the SHIELDS facility. All the staffs were busy evacuating as the power cube, Tesseract, has suddenly reacted with unknown force. The whole facility will be wiped out because of this in a few minutes. With a sudden wave, a portal has been activated and in came Loki, Thor's half brother, into this world. Loki, with his unusual sceptre power, took over the laboratory, killing everyone except for Hawkeye and Dr. Selvig. He controlled their minds and escaped together with them whilst Nick, although injured, tried his best to stop them with his trusted aides. Unfortunately, they managed to escape, creating a nightmare in days to come and also the beginning of The Avengers.
Okay, to keep it short, I can't wait for Part 2!!! There were some sad moments... also loads of funny moments but most important of all... I was kept on my toes from start to end! It was totally exciting with cool and realistic CGI's! It was so real that it made me swoon at the sight of Iron Man and Captain America *fainting* There were many scenes while fighting, with some comedic expressions which felt spontaneous and totally hilarious! I mean like Hulk is dead serious but it showed his funny side too! Definitely worth watching in the cinema with the big screen and sound effects!
