MPOV: Tong Pak Fu

This shop's name reminded me of a Stephen Chau movie I have watched long ago ^.^

Anyway, I was searching high and low for a shop with WiFi and plug point while waiting for Hubby to finish work... he had to support a roadshow to be exact. Yeap... I was in Mid Valley on a Thursday evening after work with poor tummy condition... had diarrhea due to food poisoning >.< Lo and behold, I found Tong Pak Fu with both my per-requisites!!!

The waiter was kind and friendly, recommended the daily special, any Western dessert comes with a free coffee or tea, since I was looking for something light which will also energize me. I finally picked Creme Brulee and hot Marigold tea:

I've always watched Creme Brulee on Asian Food Channel but never ever taste it before so this was my first! I was so excited when it came and damnation! It tasted sooo good and smooth! As good as it looked! Yumzzz... Marigold tea totally completed my dessert... really enjoyed it *dreamy sigh*

This shop really gave me a very good impression from the moment I stepped in. The waiter was really attentive, like when he saw me pulling out my notebook and he automatically wrote down the WiFi password for me! Ain't that fast! Also, when my cup was half empty, he immediately took it and refilled it again for me... super efficient!

My bill was RM8.65, just for the dessert since tea is free, inclusive of 5% service charge and 6% Government tax which to me was worthy with such good service and warm ambiance. Totally gave me a memorable experience.

Location: T-026 3rd Floor, Mid Valley Megamall

9 thumbs up out of 10
