MPOV: Fun Taipei Teacafe

We were hunting for food nearby where we parked in SS2 as Hubby's toe was injured and saw this restaurant which was quite crowded then. Once inside, the staffs started conversing in Mandarin... me being a 'banana' was feeling a little out of place. Thankfully the menu was partly English and Mandarin so I pointed at the pix to order >.<
Hubby's set: 3 Sauce Chicken RM14.50 & Red Plum Juice RM3.50

My set: Minced Meat Rice RM9.95 & Hot Jasmine Tea RM5.50
Overall the portion was huge! In the end, we couldn't finish all the dishes! Moreover it was kinda salty and most of the gravy consisted of soy sauce. I was happy my tea came in a pot though... can refill ^.^

Ambiance wise... typically 'char chan teng' style. Nothing unique here. Total bill was RM36.80 inclusive of 10% service charge. It was worthwhile if you are looking for a quick bite with an empty tank.

Location: 9 Jalan SS2/64, 47300 Petaling Jaya

6 thumbs up out of 10
