It’s newly opened so thought of giving
it a try with my colleague during lunch the other day. Looking at the menu, they
serve Portuguese style dishes with a wide variety of local fares too.
I ordered
ala carte, Maggi goreng (RM6.50) and teh tarik (RM2.50). I was yearning for
Maggi goreng lah so my wish fulfilled J
It’s worth trying too as it turned out to be good! The taste was just right,
not too sour and not too salty with the noodle texture just nice and not soggy.
I was surprised as other cafes or restaurants have failed miserably so far! I
mean not easy finding a nice Maggi goreng in fancy places except for mamak
restaurants. Teh tarik was ok, not too sweet but less bubbly. I liked the fact
that they do have remarks while taking orders i.e. I requested for less spicy
and I found this remark in my bill ‘tak nak pedas’! They do listen to their
customers!
My bill amounted to RM9.45
inclusive of 5% service charge which was a tad expensive for such local food
but worthwhile with good service and nice ambiance. Once in a while, ok lah ;-)
