When the day arrived, we definitely had high expectation due to it's highly rated reviews. Well, setting the bar high wasn't a good choice as when it didn't meet our expectation, the plunging feeling didn't sit well with us.
Well, as I mentioned earlier, setting the bar high wasn't a good option as it was totally overrated! First impression, the overall ambiance still looked like Tenji with service still as good. However, after going 1 round the restaurant, we were disappointed with the array of food. They had 3 main genre i.e. Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The most important, must have dish was oysters. There weren't any. Period. How disappointing!!!

After my first round, nothing actually attracted me. I guess my mind was harping for OYSTERS!!! Some of the dishes tasted either too salty or too bland or too sweet or too hard etc... we weren't satisfied for sure. After a few rounds, we just sat there looking around hence the photos above.
As it was a Public Holiday, the bill was RM137.65 inclusive of 10% service charge and 6% Government tax for 2 pax. Totally NOT worth it! I honestly felt I've eaten about RM50 max. Hubby didn't eat much too as the choices were limited, common and normal, nothing unusual except for the cute sushi's and sashimi's. Oh yeah! The ONLY plus point was 'fatt thiu cheong' aka 'Buddha jump over the wall' soup. Not sure if it's the real deal as I've never had it before... a little bland though.
I truly wondered why this place is highly rated on the net. Or was it the location? Hubby regretted the choice (it was supposed to be a belated birthday treat for me) as our romantic dinner has been smeared by this unmemorable dinner. No wonder it was not packed on a Public Holiday!
