MPOV: May King Lum Mee

A colleague introduced this place and I was slightly taken aback at first. Why? Well, the surroundings were not pleasant nor attractive, with old shop-lots laden with markets/ wholesalers and heavy traffic on small roads.

Surprisingly, this restaurant has been here for ages, since 1969 according to their website (ya, they have a website! cool leh!) and well known for it's Lum Mee!
The portion was huge for me! The taste was splendid! Not too salty, not too sweet, just right and no need additional spice/ chilli to give it a kick. Totally yummy with tummy filled to the brim! Only set back was I was kinda thirsty after that, perhaps too much MSG?

Price wise, at RM6.50 per bowl is kinda expensive but worthwhile with many ingredients. They also have their special meat ball, RM1.10 each, which was as delicious ^.^ (colleague ordered it, not in pix).

Ambiance wise, although it was unpleasant outside, it was clean and cooling inside. Service was prompt and timely, very efficient even though it was peak hour (lunch time).
