Back on Earth, Gargamel has become a celebrity magician, still planning to conquer the world. One day, he managed to send his new creation, Vexy, through the portal to Smurf Village and successfully kidnapped Smurfette so that he can retrieved the secret formula for creating the perfect blue smurfs. Both his new creation, Vexy and Hackus, turned out to be grey, same as how Smurfette used to be before Papa Smurf used a secret formula to turn her blue.
All hell breaks loose as the Smurfs frantically searched for Smurfette and finally deciding to head to New York to look for her after realizing she has truly been kidnapped by Gargamel. Papa Smurf, Grouchy, Vanity and Clumsy headed to Patrick Winslow's residence hoping for his help to find Smurfette before Gargamel managed to retrieve that secret formula!

A simple, predictable plot but with the right adrenaline and pump-up excitement. Humorous and entertaining. Great for the family! However, our enjoyable outing was somewhat marred by someone behind our seats, with long legs kept kicking/ pushing our seats. Totally annoying and ill-mannered!
