Langkawi: Day 2 Orkid Ria Seafood Restaurant

Since we have returned our rented car, we strolled along Pantai Cenang to see what we can eat! We finally settled on Orkid Ria as it's always full whenever we passed by. Our assumption: full = good.

Simple decors
Well aired and not stuffy
So many people yet cosy and comfy
Prawns RM38
Clam soup RM18
Japanese tofu RM18
Braised kailan RM10
Prices for the respective dishes above are rounded up as the handwritten bill was messy. Total bill inclusive of rice and drinks were RM104.40, a little over the top as it's supposed to be dirt cheap for an island with direct access to seafood. Most likely due to the location and ambiance but thankfully it's not overrated. It was yummy and fulfilling.

Rating: 3/5
Address: Lot 1225 Jalan Pantai Cenang, 07000 Langkawi
Business hours: 11am - 3pm, 6pm - 11pm

After dinner, we had a long walk since we were filled to the brim! Sight seeing along the infamous Pantai Cenang. Towards the other end, we saw ice-cream! Honestly the weather was hot and dry at night so might as well get some cooling ice-cream here at Leena Bakery.
Not many nightspots to lepak since majority are souvenir shops and most of the shops opened only during the day. Since most places to lepak were restaurants, after another stroll, we headed back to rest and sleep.

Our final day here was not a pleasant one, in the next and final post of Langkawi.
