A colleague suggested we have lunch here last month. This place is apparently famous for it's claypot noodles. After going through the menu and suggestions offered by the waitress, we have ordered the below for the 4 of us:
Chinese Sausage Rice RM40 |
Clam RM15 |
Claypot noodle RM15 and vegetable RM13 |
Overall, the food was good with big portions. We ordered the sausage rice as it was highly recommended by the waitress and it's available only during CNY. We truly did not expect the atrocious pricing! Thankfully it was nice and didn't had that stinky oily smell so worth the $. The infamous claypot noodle was smooth and tasty but the most memorable for me was the clam although I had only a few as it was really spicy for my sore-throat.
I would have thought it would cost a bomb since it's a seafood restaurant but our total bill was RM90 inclusive of beverages (RM7). For once a blue moon treat, it's worth it and fulfilling. Also it was easy to find parking during the peak hours. Although a typical Chinese style and noisy kopitiam, it was cooling with a non-fuss ambiance plus everything attended and served promptly.
