MPOV: Restoran Ping Wah

Hunting dinner is never easy... too many choices but not enough dime. Everything is expensive nowadays especially since with the current inflation. Thankfully, this restaurant is inexpensive for a Chinese restaurant category, apparently well known for it's Hakka cuisine.
Their wall of fame!
We have ordered their famous Hakka egg dish and also a stir fried vegetable in sambal belacan
Yummy deep fried fish
A simple ambiance, no frills, no fancies. Just the taste of their food speaks for itself. We didn't have to wait long for food either, served promptly and still piping hot. My only concern was the amount of oil used. It was kinda oily in my book for the vegetable and egg but it tasted just fine and fresh. Fish was really crispy and fresh too!

With additional 3 plates of rice and 2 glasses of iced Chinese tea, all for RM48! What more can I asked for since we have fish and also in a Chinese restaurant in PJ?! Portion wise is huge and definitely filling! If you want a simple and affordable 'big fry' dinner, you could give this restaurant a try.

My rating: 3.5/5
Location: 31 Jalan 20/16, Paramount Garden, 46300 PJ
Type: non-halal
