A colleague shared this short story and it actually struck a chord with me. Since Christmas is just around the corner, so it is apt to share this in line with the Christmasy mood :-)
It is a loving tale of a poor couple, struggling to buy each other a meaningful Christmas gift. A sweet and short story which captured the human aspects of the poor. It is heart-wrenching in the end but no doubt, a very meaningful one.
Which reminds me, I'm gonna start my 2016 New Year resolution - frugality should be my no. 1!
