MPOV: Restoran Taiping Town (LYG Dessert Restaurant)

A worthy new discovery! Located on one of the main road in Taipan, we had ample parking space then as most of the nearby shops were closed as it's past 9pm. Hence the need to be cautious too as it's actually quite dark at night plus Taipan is well known as a high crime risk area.
Food and drinks galore at affordable prices!
Operation hours to note
Konlo kari RM5.90
Sotong goreng RM5.50
The curry tasted really good, not diluted with tender chicken meat. The fried calamari was also fresh, no fishy smell and chewy, not rubbery. Hubby definitely enjoyed his meal as it's really hard to find a good taste worthy curry noodle nowadays. The best part, we didn't have that thirsty feeling after that! Meaning no cheap MSG!

Our total bill was RM18.90 inclusive of hub's curry koay teow soup and 2 glasses of plain water... no GST... no service tax! With a simple, fuss free ambiance and air-conditioned, it's hard to get such pricing these days. Even the nearby Chinese restaurants with hot air and pasar-like ambiance charged the same. Truly enjoyed my late dinner here.
