MPOV: S.Wine

This was a 'once in a blue moon' treat for ourselves! And I'm so loving it! Wished we could treat ourselves more often though...

We were quite overwhelmed by the ambiance from outside but once inside, the average crowd and the friendly staff instantly made us felt at ease.

My house pouring red wine RM25; costly but very smooth

Mushroom & bacon soup RM18; though bland but tasted ok once dipped it with toast

Bacon & salted egg carbonara RM25; sinful and yummylicious but a little nauseating towards the end... I guessed too rich and creamy... nothing a good red wine can't cure though :-p

Pan-roasted pork chop RM38; tender, moist and delicious

Flat white coffee RM10

Our total bill was RM116 (all prices are inclusive of GST) which was definitely over the top but as mentioned earlier, it's a special treat for ourselves so what more can we asked for.

I liked the classy ambiance but found that the music was a little too loud for my liking. Service was prompt including our f&b plus the waiters were really attentive. Everything went by like a breeze and when it was time to leave, I felt too 'pampered' to move *smiles unabashedly*

This place will definitely come to mind if the opportunity arises again. Truly enjoyed the overall experience albeit a minor discomfort which can be overlooked.
