For writer Jade Yeo, the Roaring Twenties are coming in with more of a purr — until she pillories London's best-known author in a scathing review. Sebastian Hardie is tall, dark and handsome, and more intrigued than annoyed. But if Jade succumbs to temptation, she risks losing her hard-won freedom — and her best chance for love.

This is the first time I'm reading a novel by Zen Cho. Upon joining the writer's group in Facebook, I've always come across her name hence it has piqued my interest. Also, short stories and novellas are my choice read lately so this was next on my list.
Be-forewarned, below excerpt taken from her website:
I wrote a couple of absurd romance novel-y synopses for the ebook distributors, but if you want to know what it’s about: it’s a novella written in diary entries about books and smooches. It has an Adult Content rating for a single explicit sex scene, but if that’s the sort of thing you’re looking for, I’m gonna be straight with you — you’d have better luck flipping through the Bible.
It was a refreshing plot for me, since it's written as a diary entry by Jade. This is truly a well written novella... short and poignant. Mind you, there were many new words for me but I couldn't sticky it since it's an ebook. Luckily, Zen has weaved the story nicely, making it easy to understand. Though a light read with a heavy plot, it was blended beautifully and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very entertaining ebook indeed.
P/S: I do so wished that I write as good as her *wishful thinking*
