It's been awhile since I've met up with Ai Jou and I did missed her company. Though we have kept in touch via social media, it's never the same. I can never understand how the humans nowadays can continuously chat on Whatsapp, Line Chat, Wechat, Skype and etc! Isn't it easier to talk face to face rather than typing on the phone??? At times I get frustrated as I can't seemed to get the message across social media correctly as the 'figure of expression' is limited. Unlike face to face, it's hard to be truly descriptive to get the message right in summary through social media. Sans blogging... I can just write and write and write... without limitations :-)
Well, back to our dinner, I've never had a meal here and it was half empty so we decided to give it a try. It's really cosy with nice comfy patchwork chairs and honestly, we can just chat the night away! We were promptly served but there was a slight glitch. Ai Jou ordered the Ramadan Set but they forgot to serve the soup *face palm*

I ordered Grilled Sotong Sumbat Rice RM20 and Iced Lemon Tea RM8
To be honest, though ambience and service were good, food wise was average. My kuah/ gravy was short of salt and spice, only tasted watery kunyit. Luckily the sotong was tender and not rubbery, it was well grilled. Even Ai Jou had to add salt and pepper for her soup and spaghetti. Perhaps the kitchen was out of cooking salt and spices?
Anyway, it was too short an hour to catch up with as it's after working hours on a weekday. Well, we definitely have to plan it on a weekend next! Now I just can't wait to open up my pressie!!!
