I can really imagine this story as a Diva channel movie, with these type of prose and plots. So dramatist like the others which have been adapted into a movie on Diva channel. From the start to the end, it was kinda predictable and you kinda know how the story would end with a little bump and twist... enough to entertain as a light read. Unbelievable that there were many deaths in this book!
Thankfully, though it was still repetitive and long winded at times especially at the start, the old fashioned plots were entertaining enough for me to enjoy and finished reading it. A first after Legacy that I've enjoyed from Danielle Steel. It wasn't as rushed and the flow was just right except at the start where it dragged on and on about Cricky's responsibility to the throne, her father's staunch believe and her brother's freedom which took practically 1/3 of the book!
