MPOV: Old Town Hokkien Mee

We discovered this place by chance and we noticed quite a number of people ordered the same, Hokkien Mee, thus we concluded it should be good.

Hokkien Mee Hoon for 2 pax

Sure enough, it smelt heavenly, with the right texture - since we have ordered mee hoon, it was not too dry nor soggy - and tasted yummylicious! It had enough 'wok hei' (breath of wok) which made the dish really delicious! Unfortunately, there was an abundance of 'chui yau char' (fried lard) which made the dish really tasty but my tummy cannot tolerate it LOL!

All in all, our total bill was RM16 for noodle and RM1.20 for 2 glasses of iced Chinese tea, not too bad with the big portion and delicious food. They do have other dishes ala 'tai chou' (big fried) so there's variety for choice.
