Last Wednesday, we had Authentic Chinese Cuisine which happens to be Happy Wok’s tagline. Their food concept is similar to a ‘tai chow’ but located in a shopping mall with nice ambience. Looking at the varieties, we couldn’t decide as all looks or sounds yummy! Finally, we settled for noodles ^.^
My hot Cham was surprisingly smooth, both coffee and tea well-blended and not too sweet.
I ordered Braised Yee Mee aka Mun Yee Meen in Cantonese. It was salty, the meat has the ‘frozen fridge’ taste.
Hubby ordered Curry Laksa with Roast Pork… it was bland and diluted.
Overall, the choice of food we had was not up to our expectation. It’s an expensive lesson as we could have better from hawker stalls for half the price. The only consolation was my hot Cham. Our total bill was RM26.20 including filtered water and 10% service charge.
Location: Lot L1.12, Level 1, Tropicana City Mall
5.5 thumbs up out of 10
