We discovered this row of hawker stalls after leaving the clinic in Paramount Garden last Tuesday. Only the first 3 stalls were open so we thought of trying out the 2nd stall which had a variety of fried noodles and rice dishes.
I ordered Singapore Meehoon. Surprisingly, it was good, not overly sour with just the right taste. I liked the fact that it’s fried dried but not dry, the noodles springy and soft.
Hubby ordered Ginger Chicken Rice. He totally enjoyed it, the meat was tender and fresh. The gravy tasted just right and not overly salty.
Very seldom we come across a lady ‘taichow’ or cook… yes, the lady below is the owner cum cook ^.^
Overall, we had a satisfying dinner, our tummy was filled to the brim! The portion was slightly big ^.* Our bill was RM12.40 including 2 glasses of ‘leong sui’ or cooling drink which was totally worth the money. Since it’s hawker food, don’t expect good ambiance lah but it was cooling at night so no complaints here ^.^
Location: Stall no.2, Jalan 24/13, Taman Megah (facing An Xin’s Healthy Meat Shoppe)
7 thumbs up out of 10
